A python measuring 21 feet and weighing more than 200 pounds was captured this week behind a home in the Malaysian district of Jasin.
The discovery of the enormous reptile left villagers “shocked,” according to the New Straits Times.
The python was spotted coiled behind the house in dim light at about 9 p.m.
The Jasin Civil Defense Force was summoned and captured the python after about 10 minutes, despite the python attacking its crew several times.

Malaysia is home to several types of pythons, the largest being the reticulated python, which can measure nearly 30 feet.
